Companion Care Services
A few things we offer you:
- Provide companionship for the patient
- Provide escort services such as taking the patient to the healthcare provider
- Provide light housekeeping tasks such as preparation of a meal or laundering the patient’s personal garments
- Perform casual, cosmetic assistance, such as brushing the client’s hair, assisting with make-up, filing and polishing nails with the exception of clipping nails for diabetic patients
- Stabilize the patient when walking, as needed, by holding the patient’s arm or hand
- Report any unusual incidents or changes in the patient’s behavior
- Responsible for providing to patient and nurse registry copies of documentation which reflects the services provided
